IGNOU has initiated admission process for Management and Dental programme

Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has initiated admission process for Management and Dental programmes. The University has also announced admission to Post Graduate Certificate in Oral Implantology and Post Graduate Certificate in Endodontics. IGNOU in collaboration with Dental Council of India has developed two PG Certificate programmes for BDS Graduates. These programmes are essentially a judicious mix of theoretical and practical courses. They enhance the knowledge and skills in the field of Oral Implantology and Endodontics, respectively.

The University will be admitting the students for the Degree/ Diplomas in Management starting from July, 2011 through an Entrance Test ‘OPENMAT-XXIX’ to be held on Sunday, February 6, 2011.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance tests like CAT, MAT and State Level tests need not appear in OPENMAT. The cut off percentage for admission of these candidates will be decided by the university.

The Eligibility for admission to the Openden-III is Registered BDS Doctors after completion of internship. The degree should be recognised by Dental Council of India. The selection will be done on the basis of a combined entrance test for the two programmes.
