Indira Gandhi National Open University (IGNOU) has launched a new website for the ease of its students. On Sunday i.e. October 17, 2010, a spokesperson from IGNOU informed that V N Rajasekharan Pillai, University Vice-Chancellor, has launched the new website. Further, the spokesperson said that the new website is designed by Indo Asian News Service. The website is more student-friendly and interactive, he added.

As per sources, the new IGNOU website is divided into three main gateways. The gateways are named as ‘About IGNOU’, ‘Student Zone’ and ‘Bulletin Board’. Further, sources told that flexibility for updating content is one of the features of the website.
